Product Description
Lens filters are translucent pieces of glass placed in front of a camera lens to alter or adjust the light entering the camera, and more importantly to protect the camera lens. Lens filters improve photographs by giving you control over light and allowing you to emphasize the features of a scene that you consider most important.
This filter kit is a combination of the three essential filters no photographer should be without.

I ordered this item on 7/31/09 and received it the next day with standard shipping (this might not be the case for everybody but they ship immediately), It was thru Amazon but sold and shipped by Ace Photo Digital, first time I heard of them but like them already.
All filters are sealed individually and all together in a small leather pouch, all have metal rings, if I'm not mistaken are real glass and they all fit perfectly on my Canon EF-S IS 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and on my Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6 APO DG Lens.
UV filter made pics 20% brighter and sharper, FL-D is making everything magenta indoors and out (must play a little more with camera settings to see what it can do) and the CPL is amazing, turning the ring from normal to complete haze and glare reduction.
Can't go wrong with this item, great shipping, great quality, fit and lens protection.

I am not sure what 100$+ filters are made up of, and how they improve your image. But with just 10$ this product is more than 200% worth it. I love the circular polarizer which is great for landscapes. UV filter is not affecting the resolution power of my kit lens in any noticeable way. I don't like the florescent filter though.. But I would pay 10$ just for the CP filter. Look at the images i uploaded.
Note: UV filter gives you some glare as it re-reflects the light bouncing off the lens coating if you are taking pictures of very bright objects like Sun. You can just remove the filter that time.

Bought these filters to go with my brand new Canon T1i. Very happy. Some reviewers mentioned 'if you don't spend $80 on filters, its not worth it.' FALSE. These work great and the polarizer made the colors JUMP. I think every aspiring photographer should have a polorizer because of how vivid they make outdoor shots look. UV looked great for indoor shots as well. Although probably not needed but was used, primarily, to protect the lens. Haven't used the FL just yet, but expect that it will work fine. Definitely a good buy.

I bought this from the seller RetailTronics.. I bought it for my canon S3 IS camera (with a lens adapter of course). I received it very quickly - like 2-4 days within the day I ordered (with regular shipping).
I was trying it out today outdoors to see how it works. I mainly wanted to get a good circular polarizer - was very tempted to get the Hoya one, but this was much cheaper and had good reviews - thought its worth the gamble. Boy, it turned out to be a great gamble. I tried on the CPL - it was awesome. At first, I didn't know how to use it, was disappointed at how it didn't remove any reflections off glass etc. But I read a bit more online and found out that I'm supposed to turn the filter 90 degrees (duh!). So, I tried again and voila! I have uploaded a couple of pictures for demonstrating how well it works.. For this price, its a steal.

I haven't tried the other filters - if they work well too, it will be a great bargain.

Nice filters; does the job that I wanted to do. Not %100 perfection, but I am happy with them. If you are a pro, conceder better filters; it has some blur when zoom in. But again, I am happy with them so far.
